Seriously, where is everyone today??

As far as the June Challenge goes..... we're not asking you to do anything you wouldn't normally do. This whole blog is about working out, right? So I'm assuming we're all working out. From the posts it appears that we are. All I'm asking is for us to challenge ourselves to DO the workout we want to do and are already doing. Yes, some of us are actually going to Challenge ourselves and are going to try and push things a bit. This is really just another way to keep us accountable. And to actually SEE if we are working out as much as we think we are. From the way it sounds we're all going an excellent job!! YAY US! This will make it easier as every week we'll see what we've accomplished, and how we're doing on reaching our goals.

I know a lot of you don't have time to write down how far or what you did. I don't have a lot of extra time either. But its simple. Take the extra 10 seconds to find a pen and keep a list on your fridge or something. I think we'll be surprised at how much we're working out (or not working out!).

I would, but my mom is coming which will change my schedule. Does walking through the mall shopping count:-)?

LOL! I don't see why not. Its walking, right?

Heck yeah, it counts! I sometimes wear my pedometer during the day and am amazed at just how much running around i do after the kids. Walking is walking, where ever it's done!!

Btw, no one gets in trouble for not completing their goals (at least i think so... right jody?!) =p It's just gives you something to work towards. If Billy keeps working as much as he's working I'll probably only meet about half of mine! But at least it gives me something to work towards (instead of giving up which i feel like doing sometimes!)

Of course not! LOL!! This is just a handy way of seeing what you are doing and having it all in one spot. Instead of trying to remember what you did, just look at the post, your time and percentage complete will be there. If I see I still have 45% to do it'll get my bum in gear.

Just wanted to point out that if it's easier for some, you can just have time goals. (ie, walk 60 minutes a week...) That way you don't have to figure out mileages or any of that.

I guess I'm in for 40 miles walking and 5 running. (Not sure how much I'll get out when my mom is here). My swimming goal is just getting IN the water. No actual swimming for me.
