Been Inspired

When i woke up this morning I stepped outside to see what the weather was like. It was so nice! I just had to go for a run. However, for the next 2 hours I kept going back and forth if I should go or not. Maybe I'd run after lunch, or this afternoon; perhaps I'd run tonight. I just couldn't get it together. Then I jumped online and saw that 'becca had put in her miles and I was totally inspired. THANK YOU 'BECCA!!!!! Reading her post was the push I needed to get me out the door.

I'm not sure what time you went 'becca but was it really humid?? UGH. I went running at 11:15 and I was dying out there. It wasn't one of my best runs (which is fine), but it gives me something to work off of! :o) I'm not too worried about time or anything yet. Its only the beginning of the running season!

I hope you others are able to get out a bit this weekend and enjoy the weather (between the raindrops!).

You guys should see me! I am beet red. I'm not sure that's a good thing, but that's how it is. I even took a picture of myself but its pretty bad. LOL! So I won't be posting it.

Happy Trails!

i started my run at 6:30a.m. so the humidity wasn't bad yet. i followed my exercise with a trip to chicago, which included a lot less walking that my trips to chicago usually do. and then i followed the trip to chicago with a huge long walk along the jail trial (the bike/walk trail that has one end at the government center in crown point & heads north to ... whiting, maybe? i don't know how far north is goes). we followed it from crown point up past 30 to the next road it crosses in schererville. then turned around & walked it back to the government center. (plus an extra half mile probably to & from the apartment to the start of the trail.) we got sprinkled on a little in that walk, but it was worth it. walking off some stress & solving the world's problems with a good friend ... that's what exercise should be about. :)

that was a long answer to "what time did you go out & was it really humid?" sorry. short answer: 6:30 a.m. - not humid yet.

Oh yeah, I walk on the Jail Trail also! Someday I hope to go exploring and find out where it begins and ends! It goes as far as Highland, I know that much. ;o)
