Doing okay

I'm doing okay on weight watchers. in three weeks i lost 8.6 lbs. i'm really encouraged about that...but i have a feeling i didn't do so well this week.....we shall see on thursday at my meeing. I went to a baseball game and ate the things that normal people eat at baseball games...yeah....but the nachos were really good. and then on sunday after my church's last service, a bunch of us went out for pizza...and that was oh so good!!! we shall see how it goes.......

Are you doing Flex points? Do you have the spare 35 a week? I am saving those because I have to go to Ohio for my Cousins grad party on Saturday so I may need the extras. Good Luck.

Yes i am doing the flex plan and yes i have the spare 35 points a week. i think you get those extra points even on the core plan. good luck with it.

Thanks erin! i did jump back on it today. My meeting is tomorrow and i gotta say i'm a little nervous...i just gotta keep in mind that one set back doesn't ruin the whole thing...that's something that i used to do...i would jump off the wagon and then not get back on because i thought it was over...but i don't think that's how this kinda 'diet' works....so that's encouraging.

diets that don't allow for sporadic indulgences are way too strict for me. i simply can't do them. everyone needs to indulge sometimes. even if the reason is "because i WANT to eat the chocolate cake at 2a.m.", i gotta be able to do that sometimes. i have to look at it as a lifestyle change. not just dieting to reach a goal weight ... but changing the way i look at food to improve my health habits for the rest of my life. okay, that makes it sound like a really big commitment. and i don't like commitment. nevermind.

Ha! i totally agree with you becca and i guess that's what the 35 extra flex points are for and i know when i go to the meeting today and have gained weight that they women there will be nothing but encouraging. i'm being good again....but that chocolate cake does sound good!
